I love using organic products whenever I can, especially when it comes to my skin. My skin is very sensitive and can be easily irritated by products that aren’t completely natural.
That’s why I was super excited when the company, Organii, offered me the chance to try out a couple of products from their range.
Who are Organii
I must confess I hadn’t heard of Organii* prior to this. I’m glad I know who they are now though.
Organii is an ethical company who source from ethical manufacturers. All of their products are vegan, cruelty free, completely natural with moisturising natural and organic ingredients. These ingredients particularly help to keep hands soft and smooth during the colder months. Organii products are good value for money too, with great formulas and packaged with care. Their products are suitable for all of the family too.
What I was sent to try from Organii
Organii kindly asked me to choose which scent I wanted to receive. I picked out lavender, as it’s super relaxing and I thought it would be perfect in the upstairs toilet. A nice relaxing scent that would be perfect before bed time.
I assumed the hand cream would also be the same scent, but it wasn’t. I will talk about that a little more in this review later on.
The products I received:
Organii Lavender Bar Soap
When the soap arrived the scent was so good. I could smell it before I even opened the cool looking box it came packaged in.
I’m not sure why, but I was expecting it to be shaped somehow, but it’s not. I guess that makes it even more natural in the way it looks too. I’m not ashamed to admit that I was expecting it to be purple in colour too.. it’s funny how many assumptions we can have for products purely on their name. It’s a generous sized block of soap and it’s packaging was like a second skin, no excessive packaging here.
My fiancé and I really enjoyed using this soap. I had it on the sink in the upstairs loo and just as I suspected it was perfect to use before bed. I think this soap is amazing value, as it just seems to last ages. I’ve been using it for a while now and it doesn’t look any smaller!
The aroma isn’t as strong when it’s wet for some reason. It’s a really nice subtle soap, not overpowering in any way and I really enjoyed it. I don’t usually opt for bars of soap over liquid soap, but this one is nice and would make a nice addition to any bathroom. It’s definitely one I’d consider getting again.
Organii Natural Care Hand Cream
As I mentioned before, I was expecting this to be lavender scented and it wasn’t at all. I will say I’m not a fan of the scent personally, but I’m sure a lot of you will love it. The fragrance of the hand cream is a strong citrus scent.
I tried to like this product, but my cats would refuse to let me touch them every time I used it. I guess that’s because citrus fruits are poisonous to cats. Both of them abhorred the scent with a passion! If you like strong citrus fragrances and you don’t have cats, perhaps you will love it. I probably would have loved it if it was odourless or lavender scented.
I will say it’s nicely packaged though and I love the simple design of both Organii products.
Final thoughts on my experience with Organii
Overall, I enjoyed my experience with trying out these products.
The bar of lavender soap was particularly enjoyable and I’d definitely seek them out for natural products in the future. Everything in their range seems reasonably priced too, which I can’t say for a lot of brands any more.
Have you ever tried Organii? Would you try anything from their range?
