Christmas is rapidly approaching and I’m honestly starting to get a bit anxious about what to get people. I always tell myself every year that I’m going to be more organized and it never happens. One thing is for sure though, I love to give hampers as gifts. Some people are super hard to buy for, or they seem to have everything and a hamper is a great way to get around those issues. They are a great gift for anyone and with so many different hampers available to choose from, you are bound to find something to suit every taste. The lovely people over at Prestige Hampers were kind enough to send me one of their luxurious Christmas hampers to review*.
Who are Prestige Hampers?
Prestige Hampers are an online company, based in Cheshire, that offer amazing hampers and gifts. They offer so many different hampers to choose from, you can find anything from cheese hampers to pet hampers. Not only are there different kinds of hampers and gifts to choose from, but they all vary in price too, so no matter your budget you will be sure to find something to suit your wallet.
As I mentioned before, Christmas is just around the corner and Prestige Hampers have got your Christmas needs covered. They have an impressive range of forty five Christmas hampers to choose from. Their cheapest Christmas hamper currently listed is only £19.99 and their most expensive is currently £750.00.
The hamper I was sent for the purpose of this review was the “Fabulous Christmas” hamper. I was amazed with how quickly it arrived and how luxurious it looked when I opened the box to reveal the hamper inside.
The hamper itself is a lovely handmade basket, which looks high quality. I love how it opens and closes, it’s a very nice design and it feels durable. On the side of the basket there’s even a placeholder for you to insert your own label for whom the gift is for, which is a nice touch.
As soon as I opened the basket to see what was inside, one of my cats decided he was going to stick his little nose in to see too. It was too cute not to share.
The items were well packaged and everything was protected. As you are able to see it was full to the brim with goodies.
Food inside the hamper:
Natural Sea Salt Yorkshire Crisps 100g
Pumpkin Seed and Cranberry Biscuits for Cheese 125g
Matthew Walker Luxury Gold Christmas Pudding 100g
English Afternoon Tea 20 Teabags
Honey Blond Chocolate Bar 50g
Belgian Marc de Champagne Fancy Truffles 200g
Belgian Chocolate Caramel Thins 80g
Mackays Scottish Strawberry Preserve 113g
Mackays Dundee Orange Marmalade 113g
Alcohol inside the hamper:
Three Founders Stone wines;
White Zinfandel 187ml
Pinot Grigio 187ml
What I think
I haven’t tried everything inside my hamper, because I’m going to be saving it for Christmas to indulge in. However, I was really impressed with the look of the hamper and I think it’s got a good variety of food inside that even the fussiest of people (ie: me) will find something to enjoy. The three bottles of wine will be enjoyed by my fiancé (as I don’t drink) and I will be thoroughly enjoying the chocolatey goodies inside. Anything I don’t like I’m pretty sure my fiancé will eat, or he’ll be willing to try though. I’m looking forward to opening up the crisps, sharing them and watching a Christmas film.. hopefully while it’s snowing outside.
My overall thoughts
I really love this hamper and I think it would be an amazing gift for someone this Christmas. Prestige Hampers are definitely a company I recommend trying out if you’re thinking of getting a hamper for someone, or even for yourself.
