I’m ghostly pale, so finding a foundation that doesn’t make me look like an Oompa Loompa is really difficult. I was over the moon when I found Rimmel’s Lasting Finish Foundation in Ivory. It’s slightly darker than my skin tone, but not so much that it makes me look orange.. it just gives me a nice glow. It applies really smoothly and melts into your skin, I love it and have gone through 4 bottles since finding it. I will be gutted if this ever goes off the market, as it took me absolutely ages to find something that worked for me.
It has a comfort serum in it (which to be honest, I have no idea what that means, but if it means that it feels comfy on your skin I’d have to agree!) It says that it’s sweat, heat humidity and transfer proof for up to 25 hours. I know I’ve sweated while wearing it, but it’s not one that runs down your face if you know what I mean. I find applying with a sponge the most effective method to get a good natural looking coverage. Apparently it has SPF 20 in it too, I have no idea if that actually works in makeup or not.. it seems a big thing right now, but does it work? I can neither confirm nor deny.
At the time of writing this post you could buy this foundation on Amazon for £7.92, which is really good for a decent foundation. It lasts a while and gives you amazing flawless coverage. There’s a good selection of different shades to choose from too, so you’re bound to find a good match. You can grab your own by clicking the image below.
What do you use for foundation? Are you going to give this one a go? Let me know!
